If you live in San Antonio or Austin, don’t worry.
As of Thursday, The National Hurricane Center, who regularly updates its website as to the hurricane’s probable location and wind-speed, gives Austin a 2% chance of seeing an actual hurricane. For San Antonio, 3%. And this is the weakest type–Category 1.
Which means there’s roughly a 98%, the city’s freaking out unnecessarily.
So, please: don’t go clean-out HEB. (I may need cereal next week).
